COOKIE POLICY & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Cookie Policy

Last Updated: 15 October 2026 • Policy Version: 2026-10

Notice: This policy describes the technical cookie architecture and consent controls implemented across Jobspiq services (jobspiq.in and app.jobspiq.in). Final legal review is conducted periodically.

1. What Are Cookies & How Jobspiq Uses Them

Cookies are small text files stored in your web browser. Jobspiq utilizes cookies to ensure platform security, maintain authenticated sessions, record your explicit privacy preferences, and evaluate platform reliability.

We adhere to a privacy-first baseline: optional analytics tools (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) are not loaded and set no identifiers until you opt in.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

A. Strictly Necessary & Security Cookies (Always Active)

Required

These cookies are essential for navigating our platform and using secure features such as JWT authentication sessions, CSRF token validation, and storing your consent preferences (jobspiq_consent_v1).

B. Analytics & Performance Cookies (Consent-Gated)

Opt-In Only

Provided via Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) to count visits and popular pages, and Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk) for heatmaps and session recordings that show how pages are used; Clarity masks what you type into form fields. Neither tool loads until you click “Accept All” or enable analytics in preferences, and turning analytics off stops them for the rest of your visit.

C. Preference & Functional Cookies

Optional

Remembers your display theme (light/dark mode) and custom job search filter presets across sessions.

3. Managing & Revoking Your Consent

You can adjust or revoke your cookie choices at any time by clicking the Cookie Settings button located in the footer of every page, or by using your browser settings to clear cookies.

4. Contact Privacy Governance

If you have inquiries regarding our data handling or cookie practices, reach us via our Contact Page or submit a request on our Privacy Request Portal.
